LBG Names Three Senior Associates
LBG has named Sean Groszkowski, Paul Jobmann and Mitch Kannenberg Senior Associates.
Based in the firm’s White Plains, New York office, Mr. Groszkowski manages environmental projects with multi-million dollar construction and remedial costs that cross a wide spectrum of environmental disciplines, including regulatory compliance, hazardous waste investigations and cleanups; hydrogeological investigations; environmental assessments; contaminant fate and transport modeling; and litigation support. He specializes in management of inactive hazardous waste and site remediation under the New York State Brownfield Cleanups Program (BCP), with responsibility for project development from initial site assessment and application and entry into the BCP to permit acquisition and remedial construction management and subsequently progress through to regulatory site closure and site management. Mr. Groszkowski holds a B.A. degree in geosciences, from Franklin & Marshall College. His technical affiliations include the Association of Ground Water Scientists and Engineers (National Ground Water Association).
A Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) and registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Connecticut, Mr. Jobmann is an environmental engineer with considerable experience in the environmental consulting field. He is based in LBG’s Shelton, Connecticut office. His areas of expertise include conducting and managing environmental site assessments at properties in the Connecticut Property Transfer Program and Voluntary Remediation Programs; the design, construction, testing, and operation and maintenance (O&M) of soil and groundwater remediation systems; closure of RCRA storage units; and hydrology. Mr. Jobmann holds an M.S. degree in environmental engineering science and B.S. degrees in electrical engineering and environmental studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a member of the Environmental Professionals’ Organization of Connecticut, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Connecticut Society of Professional Engineers.
Mitch Kannenberg is based in LBG’s Sioux Falls, South Dakota office. Over the past 20 years, he has worked on a multitude of projects involving the assessment and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater and groundwater resource evaluation. He has assessed and remediated gasoline and diesel fuel releases at sites for retail operations and large pipeline terminals and has performed assessment and remediation at large former manufactured gas plants sites. He has also managed water resource evaluations, including drilling programs, aquifer pumping tests, and numerical modeling, in sand and gravel aquifers and fractured bedrock aquifers. Mr. Kannenberg is a licensed Professional Engineer as well as a Certified Petroleum Release Remediator in South Dakota. He is a past Chair of the South Dakota Section of the American Water Works Association and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the South Dakota Water and Wastewater Association
. He earned an M. S. degree in geological engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
