LBG Names Three Associates01/08/2013
LBG has named Corey Pagels, Mike Plante and Martha Silks Associates.
Based in the firm’s Madison, Wisconsin office, Mr. Pagels has 15 years of environmental engineering experience. He has managed a variety of projects involving the assessment, investigation, and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater at petroleum, chemical, and landfill release sites in Wisconsin and throughout the U.S. A State of Wisconsin Certified Site Assessor and Certified Professional Hydrologist, he received a B.S. in hydrogeology from the University of Wisconsin at Sevens Point. He is a member of the Wisconsin Groundwater Association, and the American Institute of Hydrology.
Mr. Plante is based in LBG’s St. Paul, Minnesota office. He has over 14 years of experience involving site remedial investigations of contaminated soil and groundwater, vapor intrusion assessments, hydrogeologic assessments for water supply and wellhead protection projects, implementing GPS and GIS on water resource and environmental projects, and project management. A licensed Professional Geologist and Geographic Information Systems Professional, he received a master of geographic information science and a B.S. in geology from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the American Water Works Association, Minnesota Ground Water Association, the National Ground Water Association.
Ms. Silks is based in LBG’s North Kansas City, Missouri office. She has 23 years of experience as a hydrogeologist, primarily in the siting, design and protection of water supply wellfields. She specializes in groundwater exploration and subsurface investigations, well and wellfield evaluation, fracture trace analysis and mapping techniques. A Professional Geologist in Nebraska, Texas and Kansas, she received a B.S. in geology from the University of Kansas.
