LBG Names Four Associates02/02/2008
SHELTON, CT — Leggette, Brashears & Graham, Inc. (LBG), a professional groundwater and environmental engineering services firm, has named Douglas Hunter, Sean Groszkowski, Paul Woodell, and Matthew Ayers associates.
Mr. Hunter is based in LBG’s Gahanna, Ohio office. He has more than 18 years of experience as a consulting hydrogeologist, managing and implementing hydrogeologic investigations for groundwater supply, environmental contamination and solid and hazardous waste landfill projects.
A licensed Professional Geologist, Mr. Hunter holds a B. S. in geology from James Madison University and a M.S. in hydrology – University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. He is a member of the American Institute of Geologists, the Association of Ground Water Scientists & Engineers, the National Ground Water Association and the American Water Works Association.
Mr. Groszkowski is based in the White Plains, NY office. His hydrogeologic experience includes collection of both clean and contaminated soil and groundwater samples; drilling supervision and formation sampling during the installation of groundwater monitoring and recovery wells; development and test pumping of recovery wells, monitor well design; Phase I and II site assessments, design, installation and maintenance of watershed monitoring system, combined air-sparging/soil-vapor extraction (SVE) system design; supervision of underground storage tanks and hazardous soil removal; and, soil-vapor surveys. He holds a B.A. degree in geosciences, from Franklin & Marshall College.
Mr. Woodell is also based in the White Plains, NY office and his hydrogeologic experience includes groundwater, surface-water and soil sampling; drilling supervision during installation of monitor wells; the maintenance of hydrocarbon remediation systems; supervision of underground storage rank removals; supervision of pumping tests and the analysis of test data; stream gauging and quantitative dye tracing. He holds an M.A. degree in earth science from the State University of New York at Oneonta and a B.S. in physics from Union College.
Mr. Ayers is based in LBG’s Ramsey, New Jersey office. His experience includes supervision and implementation of soil/groundwater contamination investigations and remediation projects as well as water-supply projects involving municipalities and land developers.
Mr. Ayers is a licensed Professional Geologist with the State of Pennsylvania and a licensed Subsurface Evaluator by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Mr. Ayers holds a bachelor of science degree in geology from The State University of New York College at Oneonta. He is a member of the Geological Society of America and the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists.
